We design vintage inspired prints and put them on Groovy things for yesterday lovers!
Yesterday People was born from a love of the 60's and 70's and all the crazy, outta sight, far out fabrics, music, design and decor that went along with it!
We believe that what you wear and how you decorate your home is an extension of your personality, fashion should be fun and if you want to fill your wardrobe and your life with outta sight, glorious pattern and colour...do it!
We started out as a small eco label in 2017 making groovy things entirely from vintage and recycled fabrics. As authentic vintage fabric became harder and harder to find I decided to go back to school and create my own groovy vintage inspired prints!
We design all of our exclusive prints in house and stock our own clothing label as well as vintage clothing and accessories and we're always on the look out for homewares and other things to add our groovy prints to.
We do things a little differently around here and are mainly a 'Make on demand' label. This means we make your pieces up once you place your order...You choose your style, your print and your size and we get your groovy things sewn up...BOOM!
Why do we work like this? As a small business this means we can offer you an amazing variety of prints and styles to choose from without the costs and waste involved in producing full collections and because we only make what you purchase it means we put less waste out into the world.
Because of this things do take a little longer (2-4 weeks plus post ) but we are working on a faster turnaround!
We produce most things here in our small studio in Brisbane (See the Made in Australia section) Our other groovy things are made on demand in Australia, Hong Kong, the USA and the UK.
Life's way too short to be boring so put on some records and wear the damn dress, paint those flowers on the damn wall, get that damn floor to ceiling shag pile carpet and live the groovy life you know you wanna!
